Name: Anonymous on Apr 3, 2009Comments: Absolutely appalling, Sling Media should be ashamed to screw their loyal customers out of the iPhone Utility. Perhaps advance notice might softened the blow, say at last years MacWorld where they showed the iPhone prototype working with any slingbox.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 3, 2009Comments: Looking at the discount offer for US customer does not give much relief. A $50.00 off coupon sound great until you realize it is only good at the Sling Store. A Sling Solo cost $179.99 at your store and with the discount it drops to 129.99+$9.95 for shipping totaling $139.94. The exact same new Solo can be purchased at multiple location for $139.99 free shipping no tax, and with out your discount offer. That NICKLE is not going to win you many fans! If the marketing guys at Sling can find happy, loyal, repeat customers for a NICKLE apiece; I will mail them $20.00 and they can buy me 100 clients. I will even let them keep the change to buy drinks.Flag

I will now be more diligent in getting everyone I know to stop using and to never use and or purchase another product from you. This goes for my dish network service which I, along with two other households in my family have done as of yesterday.Flag

Name: William White on Apr 3, 2009Comments: Totally unacceptable practice. If the earlier versions of the betas worked on the older boxes and was shown during MacWorld to work on the Classic and AV than the final release should as well. No way, will I ever support a company that has a practice to say nothing until right before the App might be released that you will need to upgrade your existing hardware for it work.Flag

Name: Jack R on Apr 3, 2009Comments: With slingplayer running on blackberry, etc, etc all your customers know your refusal to support older slingbox, is just a money grubbing scam. Thanks for turning your back on your original loyal customers that made you in the first place! Do you not know you have competition in this area that works on iphone without hassle Seems not. I will certainly not be upgrading.Flag
