In real life, people from any country can gamble on a casino aboard a ship in international waters. There must be some way to rework the logic to guarantee that the actual wagering is performed on some remote server outside the jurisdiction of any of these agencies.

433 Donnie HalasyDid anyone think about the money spend by the owners of casinos in SL they needed to invest for building them? About the "jobs" from hosts? It's not only the fun, it's a lot of more they are taking away. There should be better solutions to be saved by US law than forbid any gambling in SL. There are so much more things, they should better take care of - i.e. virtual drug dealers. That - in my opinion - is really against laws, but not a virtual "casino".

They are lovely people and I'm felling orphan and solidary with them and other casino' s owners. I suppose here were a place for dreams, funny, good talks and nice moments without laws and controls. 446 AnonymousI used to be the owner of EVENT II, sadly I packed all my items into my invo and sold the land with regret. However some people are showing happiness that I had to close, but from what I can see is that I offered a nice friendly place where you guys could meet and enjoy the place even if none of you gambled. But now look to my place, it's gone and now a nice looking house with a new avator sits there. Wot is left in SL now? ok some casino's are still running but they are on limited time. SL have really fucked this one up and many real people who have invested much money and hard work and effort in making places that others enjoyed, and now they have destroyed us also our friends who we will no longer have contact with. Well I will be for sure one that will end his payable time on SL as I for sure dont intend to build a nice house on a plot of land only to pay lindens on a premium rate, where is the fun in that? Land prices also have fallen due to the constant greed from SL, they never need to open all those sims but it's money to them (our money) I paid 9k per 512m and now it is nearly half of that due to the fact that so much land is available it is now a buyers market. SECOND LIFE " YOUR IMAGINATION, YOUR WORLD" oh and did we forget to tell you about US law!

448 Sal SalubriusI am a citizen of the UK where gambling is legal, I BOUGHT my land from the lindens. Even though the physical servers are in the USA my land does not have a physical existance there. Therefore MY land is British and gambling is legal there.
