Stop the Slaughter of Wild Horses

Our government is taking wild horses off land because of special interest groups and are putting them in government pens. If the horse is over 10 years of age, (less than half of their lifespan) or were not adopted, they are sent to be slaughtered. This situtation is not right! Instead of letting our nation\'s true symbol graze freely, they are being killed to make room for cattle and oil drilling. Let\'s bring back Federal protection for the horses. Please help us by signing this petition, which will go to Washington.

1 year ago Comments: The targeting of America's horses for sale to out-of-country slaughter houses includes this nation's wild Mustangs AND are making a handful of individuals in this country rich. This is not only inhumane practice because of the methods used but it is immoral and threatens one of this country's historical features - the wild Mustang herds. Americans should also be appalled at the millions of tax dollars being spent to destroy these innocent animals.

1 year ago Comments: The federal government has to stop serving special interest groups! We need to protect our earth, fellow creatures like the horse population. I disgusted by the greed that drives business to dispose of some of God's greatest gifts. When will it end when the world is nothing but malls and concrete. The demise of humans will result from greed and the disinterested. When we lose interest in saving any of God's creatures, we are taking steps to the destruction of ourselves and generations to come. Very sad to me that there are still so many that have not evolved enough to understand this basic spiritual concept.
