Recently, Pensacola Catholic High School has made an addition to the dress code: no skinny jeans. We feel this is not necessary. We realize we have to adhere to proper dress code and such. However, skinny jeans have never been considered something improper. It also isn't fair for the people that have become so accustomed to wearing them. They would need to practically purchase a whole new wardrobe that they wouldn't even wear outside of school, and that is hurtful, financial-wise. Maybe we can have a discussion about it as a school in each of the homerooms, where we can formally express our opinions on this rule and have the homeroom teachers report back the feedback. We really hope you'll reconsider.
