Zig Markowski - KM9MI agree with the petition as presented.
LU1DZThe World Wide South America CW Contest rules point: V - Categories: Single Operator Those stations at which one person performs all of the operating, logging, and spotting functions. The use of DX alerting assistance of any kind places the station Multi Operator category. XIII - Disqualification: The use of non-amateur means such as telephones, emails, telegrams, spots, DX-Cluster, DX-Net, Packet Radio Cluster, etc., to ilicit contacts or multipliers during a contest is unsportsmanlike and the entry is subject to disqualification. Then we dont need to make any change in WWSA rules. 73 and good CW
Ed SawyerI could also accept it being in Assisted if there is suffecient desire by that group. But if it is banned totally, it wouldn't hurt my feelings. Ed
JORGE DIEZPlease avoid all this in our contest activity!!!...

AnonymousDIDN'T LIKE THE SKIMMER IDEA.
Larry Menzel, W0PRIt was bad enough when computers took over logging, duping and sending. NO SKIMMER! Let's keep this a human challenge.
Mike wr5u
Robye Lahlum, W1MK
Artur SP3CWNo comment needed I guess... CW 4ever ! (without PCs support, hi!)
Susan King K5DU
JOSE CASTILLO -N1BAAFULLY AGREE! NO SKIMMERS!
Andrew Roos ZS6AAI love CW contesting as a test of operator skill. Skimmer would make it into a "battle of the skimmer bots" that would no longer interest or challenge me.

Maurice Charpentier, F5NQL

John Shannon - K3WWPCW should be kept a traditional mode and subject as little as possible to computer automation. It should remain a mode where the operator's brain, not some computer chip, is used to decode what is being sent. For a good example of how CW contesting should be, visit the North American QRP CW Club web site at http://www.usatek.net/~yoel/ and check out our monthly sprints rules.
Peter T. Liaros
Jim, W1KQWell, let's just go back to straight key/semi-auto cw only. Automated copy is difficult with a less than perfect electronic fist. No Skimmer please.
Bill DeLage, K1SE

Martin Snow GW3PRL
Daniel Gravereaux, N1ZZAn operator is required to add skill to any competition
Vidi - ZS1ELCW contesting requires personal skills which takes years to develop. Skimmer is a very clever computer game for which there is no place in a CW contest.
