   Comments: I remember having my photograph taken sitting on its back aged about 4 and also my children sitting on it about the same age as I was, its part of the towns history so please restore it to its home.

   Comments: I've recently started visiting Skegnes again from my home in Peterborough, after decades away from the place, and would love to see the Stone Lion back in his rightful place again. I was dismayed on returning to the resort and finding him gone, and I have many fond memories of photos as a child sitting on his back. Bring back the Lion to the Red Lion!!

    Comments: I had my picture taken on the stone lion when I was 5 years old whilst hollidaying in Skegness in 1955. ( still have the picture! )

    Comments: The lion statue should be be put back, It was no more than vandalism to remove it. It was part of the town as much as the Jolly Sailor, will the clock tower be next to be removed.
