We are members of the Dana Point community urging the City Council and it's Planning Commissions to approve a location and initiate construction of a quality built skatepark.
The momentum behind this push is finally forcing the City Council to take notice of our demand for a skatepark. They can no longer ignore the fact that Dana Point skaters are tired of being treated like criminals for practicing their sport.

This needs to happen! A really nice mini ramp at Salt Creek beach park next to the basketball courts would be ideal. The council in Lacanau, France had the vision to put their skatepark on the seafront and it was insane! A great mini ramp would only be 50-80k and if built in metal would require very little maintenance. Have ARC Build it. American Ramp Company makes a really durable, quiet, aesthetically pleasing product. Surfing & Skating have a symbiotic relationship!

I am all for public spaces that bring people together in a healthy way. Skateboard park would put a spotlight on a sport that has been around and is growing in a professional way for our youth. Let's give people a place where they can do it safely and legally. It's 2014 and time to make this happen. Thank you!

DP has no skatepark. Just down the 5 freeway, Oceanside just opened a 3rd skatepark and Carlsbad a second. DANA POINT HAS NO SKATEPARK!

Skate parks give both young and old the option to spend their time investing into a sport rather than loitering and being exposed to a lackadaisical attitude where drugs wreak havoc on our young people.

I really feel our community is in need of a modern skatepark. Bowl section also needed
