I have been spending my afternoons watching the kids try to practice tricks on the rough pavement near the shops. It confirms exactly why we need a dedicated space to keep them safe and active. I am currently putting together a formal presentation for the next council meeting to show them this is more than just a passing interest.

Seeing this much traction for a skate park is overwhelming because I know exactly how much this space would mean to the kids in our village. It feels like the community is finally ready to turn this empty patch of land into something our neighborhood actually needs.

I work in Histon (Vision Park) & would love somewhere to ride my bike at lunchtime!
We've just finished building a skate park in Earith and its been a wonderful addition to the recreation area in the village. It'd be lovely for Histon to get something similar
It would be great for a skate park to be built in Histon because whenever my son goes to the nearest alternative in Orchard Park he has to cross the A14 and has experienced hostility from members of the community there. There are so many children in Histon/Impington who would benefit from a skate park here.

My teenagers have been asking for this for years and it would be so much safer than them skating in the middle of the road near the shops.
Would be brilliant for the village by getting more people out and active.

Very Much needed, I am commitee to this and have been working with Neil Davies as well as the Parish Council Youth Committee to see this dream becomes a reality.
