   Comments: This is a matter of basic integrity. The reason Adventist Education exists is to provide students a learning environment that is consistent with the faith. This is really a basic and fundamental issue that is clear to see. God bless you as you move forward decisively and wisely.

   Comments: This petition addresses the problem, that many parents and church members do not know that there are teachers in our schools that are in rebellion against Scripture and church doctrine. Believing themselves wise, they reject the Bible account of creation. In 1997 the GC voted a mandate that the schools would inform parents of what they were teaching. This could have been nipped in the bud ten years ago. But the current crop of administrators have neglected to follow through. Many objected and did not want to be held accountable. Many in "higher education" were quite upset with the mandate that would hold them accountable to the church and parents....and most important to Scripture and God. It is now up to the church to go to these administrators that work for us and to instruct them to use their influence to correct the problems. The teaching of evolution is only a symptom of a much larger problem. As a people we remain in a Laodicean condition and many of our conference leaders reflect that condition. While the three presidents consider which side of the line they will stand on, let us begin the reformation in our own lives. Jesus stands at many doors, knocking.
