We, the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Gaming Society would like your authorization to utilize the Goshen lounge in the Morris University at a negotiable date for the use of a campus wide tournament of Magic: The Gathering. Magic: The Gathering is a strategic card game that has been very popular for many years, and has a widely popular following world wide. As this petition will show, SIUE is no exception. The Society believes that a tournament of the game on campus will help foster a sense of togetherness and solidarity among the student body by uniting many of its members in a common interest. It will be a great opportunity for networking, enjoyment, and new friendships to be forged. Are not all of these an important part of the university experience? We hope that our voices might be heard and we will be given authorization to go forward. We hope the voice of the student body be heard, and an enjoyable day will be had by all.
