   Comments: I have researched this issue and found that the school district was informed of this requirement in 2002. This should have been implemented at the very least in their junior year. Now with all the college essays, AP class essays and various other projects they are asked to complete you are asking them to complete this as a condition of their graduation. Having spoken with the curriculum director for the state I understand there are countless other ways these requirements can be meet. I am extremely disappointed that this is the plan our district has imposed on our students.

   Comments: It isn't. Every year the counseling center comes up with ways to lose our previous pink sheets or whatever it was they used to "help" us along. Look as far as I'm concerned, I only need to prove myself to the State of Oregon within the classroom in order to receive my diploma. Any job currently held by teenager is unlikely to be there future career and considering the average adult changes their career five times with their life, all this paper work will amount to a whole lot of nothing. No more essays!
