Name: K.j on Jul 11, 2009Comments: silver islet is the ideal location for small craft and large craft vessels to seek refuge. Also the silver islet dock would be the only other exit for the sibley provincial park in case of emergency. please fix this historic and versatile landmark.Flag

Name: Scott Atkinson on Jul 12, 2009Comments: The Silver Islet dock is in need of urgent repair!! This dock is not only important for a harbour of refuge but also needed as a drop off spot for injured parties to meet the land ambulance from this area of the North shore. This dock is vital to facilitate the evacuation of the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and Silver Islet in the event of a forest fire!!!!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Mary Lynne Atkinson on Jul 12, 2009Comments: The importance of the SI dock was again demonstated during a recent boat trip down the shore, where we assisted in the evacuation of an injured kayaker-the dock was the transfer point with the Thunder Bay ambulance. The present condition of the dock is definitely hazardous.Flag

Name: Tom Eaton on Jul 28, 2009Comments: The Silver Islet dock should be an integral part of the NMCA for access to and from the lake. With a population of 110,000 in Thunder Bay and thousands more in the surrounding area as well as a stop off for boaters from the US the dock must be maintained to accommodate the many wishing to accessing the NMCA.Flag
