Allow Women to do Kirtan & Sewa at Harmandir Sahib

Sikh Women aren't allowed to serve our Guru, be it part of the Panj Pyare, the Granthi, The Raagi Jatha. They aren't even allowed to carry the Paalki Sahib during Prakaash or Sukhasan, and all this has been decided by none other than the SGPC. What happened to the Hukam of our Guru, the Hukam of 100% equality Help Sikhs around the whole world to achieve the equality the Sikhi teaches us all about. Today our Mothers, Sisters and daughters are being oppresed by the SGPC. let us unite and destroy their tyranny against Sikh women. we must achieve equality and restore the teachings of Our GURUS. please sign this petition and make a difference today. let us protect the Honour of Khalsa, of Sikhs, of Women and especially of our GURU...

  • Simrath Kaur Dhaliwal Sikhi is a religion of equality. What a man can do, a woman can do and what a woman can do a man can also do. Why do we preach that there is equality is sikhi if in reality there is not. Not allowing women to do kirtan at arguably the holiest shrine of sikhi is discrimintation and should not be tolerated. We, as sikh women, need to unite and ask to be given our right to do sewa anywhere we feel like, we should not be subject to sexist constraints and we need to take a stand on this shocking discrimination taking place in our 'equality based' faith

  • satvinder singh women not allow in masjid, not allow in mandir sewa not allow sewa in harminder sahib its mean women is not pure.so kiyu manda akhiya jith jamha rajaan

  • Inderjeet Kaur We brag that Sikhi is gender equal. We must put this equality into practice.
