Please help to get this much needed and groundbreaking bill passed into law! Not only does this bill allow the lives of the sick and the lives of people who have to live with their pain everyday cause pain medication only works to an extent and scares these people into thinking they would become junkies from the addiction of powerful pain pills, allow them the choice, but allows the the choice without the fear of jail just because they want to improve the quality of their lives. The research is out there and medical cannabis is not what the 30's era painted it to be. I encourage you to do some research before you sign. Long story short, my brother in law died of pancreatic cancer at age 19 eleven years ago. He was on oxycontin & hydrocodone but neither helped kill his pain but VERY little, but, he could smoke a potent marijuana joint and his pain was bearable for hours.
