I am very worried about what someone could put right next to my site that could discourage others from viewing my pages. The Internet is supposed to be an open world and an even playing field. The Google Sidewiki can harm legitimate online businesses. This tool can cause irrepairable damage to reputations and businesses when used by spammers. The opportunity for abuse is VERY HIGH with google sidewiki. I am very worried about what someone could put right next to my sites that could discourage others from viewing my pages and doing business with me. Our websites are personal property, and not to be used by others without our express permission! IF we cannot control the comments left on our site by our competition, you are killing our businesses. Google should give us a way to opt out our own website OR the right to moderate comments related to their own domains. ! if we do not want sidewiki on our business website. I can only see this tool as yet another platform for spammers and disreputable people to create chaos on the web.
