This petition is for sidewalks on Chalkville Elementary School Road. There is a great need for sidewalks on this street for the safety and well being of the students that attend Chalkville Elementary School. Currently there are two Jefferson County police officers directing traffic as crossing guards at the school in the morning and afternoon daily, but the safety of our children is ignored by drivers that continue to speed in the school zone. For this reason we will that sidewalks could greatly increase the safety of our students at Chalkville Elementary.
