Name: Dorothy on Jan 26, 2010Comments: My light bill has nearly tripled to almost 500 for one month. This is the amount to rent a room which include electricity as well as all the other bonus. This is outrageous and something should be done. Including but not limited to a full investigation of where these funds are going and why we have to be a member just to receive electricty. As well as why we pay at $10.30 faciltiy charge to pay for their electric and nice houses.Flag

I understand December was colder than November however, in the summer months when the AC is running almost full time, the elcetric bill is NEVER that high! What is going on?!?!?Flag

Name: Hannah on Jan 26, 2010Comments: I too have a doubled power bill on both my units. One which is a work shop which has no AC or heat nor does it have fans. Only thing plugged in is a radio. Last month the shop used 4kw, this month it used 46kw. No how in the world is that possible? I called them today and they couldnt explain it. Only said the house doubled because of how cold it was this last month. Im sorry but there is no way my electric bill should have doubled. I understand going up a bit but not that much. ThanksFlag

Our energy bill for this month was $246 and we hardly had our heat turned on even half of the month.Flag

Name: Tara Saunders on Jan 30, 2010Comments: Funny thing, We werent home for 2 1/2 weeks and our bill went up 60 bucks! We had NO Christmas lights, left nothing on and unplugged everything. Also we were barely home through the the rest of the month, basically just to sleep. So it is IMPOSSIBLE for there to be a reason for my bill to increase like that unless Im paying for something else. Which is called stealing by the way. If I didnt use it, I shouldnt have to pay for it!Flag

Name: Karen Phondeth on Feb 4, 2010Comments: The fact that bill tripled with the same use is rediculus!!! I don't mind paying what I owe but I feel that there is no reason for my bill to have tripled. I have only every had to pay around 75 dollars a month. This does not make sense due to the fact that I turned my thermostat farther down because it was not that cold out! I want to know where my money went!!Flag

Name: Charlyn Gallagher on Feb 25, 2010Comments: What is happening with the electric bill is outrageous! Some of us do not have the extra income to put towards this due to lay offs and being out of work! Now we are being charged more? Please explain to us how this is fair? You are the only electric company out there....We don't have a choice but to use you! This is taking complete advantage of people who are trying to make ends meet as it is!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 10, 2010Comments: Last year was just as cold and we got snow then too.. but somehow with NO CHANGES to my lifestyle or furnishings our bill was doubled and is STILL INCREASING!! I called and they said that according to my house size and occupants i was actually paying less than the standard. and that the "record breaking" cold weather was to blame... I checked on weather.com and compared last years temps to this and they are not any colder! It's ridiculous! When they do find the problem i hope that they are planning on refunding all the money they are sucking from onslow residents!Flag
