We the undersigned hereby affirm that the United States family-based immigration process should be shortened to six months, nine months at the most. This action would allow the union of families and strengthen the United States as the "Melting Pot" that it strives to represent. The cost and time that will be spent working on shortening this process would be outweighed by the benefits that each immigrant, family member, and the nation as a whole will receive.
