Name: JOHN MURPHY on Sep 17, 2010Comments: Sherm Feller is as much a part of Red Sox history as is the Green Monster, Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski and Tony Conigliaro. His voice echoing over the famous old ballpark known as Fenway is the essence of major league baseball in Boston. He is a bonified Red Sox Hall of Famer if ever there was one........put him in the Hall today!Flag

Name: John Kelley on Sep 24, 2010Comments: First game at Fenway in the 50's, Williams out of lineup. Not a serious fan until 1967 when I watched the Sox lose WS from the Amputee Ward of Philadelphia Naval Hospital. After Nam it was the bleachers throughout the 70's. Sherm Feller was as distinct as Johnny Most as a "voice of Boston". He was an icon. He represented more than just the Sox. Isn't that what a Hall of Fame is about? Characters bigger than life?Flag

Name: Martin Wood on Feb 27, 2011Comments: My fondest memories of Mr. Feller were during my years at Boston College and hearing his iconic voice and introduction of players at Fenway. Later when I had the honor of working for Bost Sports Attorney, Bob Woolf, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Feller and found him to be a humble, delightful man. Please do the right thing and honor one of the game's greatest PA announcers and invite Mr. Feller to The Hall.Flag

Name: Glenda G. Fox on Apr 9, 2011Comments: Please induct Sherm into the Boston RedSox Hall of Fame. His welcoming announcement at Fenway Park is one of my most favorite childhood memories. We felt as if he was personally speaking to us! I believe he is the reason Fenway is nicknamed "Friendly Fenway". The night I met Sherm, he had just returned from a Red Sox affilliated charity event. He was sure he was tired and hungfy, but he most graciously repeated, for me, his famous Fenway announcement, as well as, his line-up announcement of "Wade Boggs". My hair stood on end then, as well as every time I remember that meeting. Oh, that booming voice! He was a dedicated representative of the Red Sox, Fenway; and the fans, as I personally experienced. A true ambassador of baseball: Boston style. True Red Sox fans hold Shern dear to our hearts. Please consider the induction of Sherm Feller into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. Thank you.Flag
