Shepperton says NO to parking restrictions

We, the undersigned, petition Surrey Council to reconsider its plans to introduce parking restrictions in Shepperton. We believe that such a move would force customers to shop at large superstores rather than support local businesses, which would have a devastating effect on both the economy and ultimately the diverse nature of business in our village.

4 years ago Comments: This will be the end of Shepperton high st. The prices in the high st. cant compete with the big three supermarkets but are very convenient for day to day shopping. Take away the convenience(having to have change walking to the nearest pay machine and back) and add the cost of parking and you will take away the one advantage shepperton has over it's big competitors. It is so short sighted, stop this ridiculous proposal now!
