Shame on the elected representatives and the rest of the shower in the Dail.Flag

The reprecussions of this disgusting profit driven project are already obvious to anyone with takes the time to read the facts. The gardai who are complicit in this are also spineless ignorant baboons, like their masters. Shame on them all.Flag

Name: John Murphy on Aug 22, 2008Comments: I admire the Shell to sea campaigns effort in opposing the exploitation of the Corrib gas field and the blatant disregard the Irish government has shown for their concerns. This campaign has shown that when push comes to shove our government and it's henchmen have shown negligence and sometimes contempt for people who are trying to assert their rights and express their views. The organisations that perpetrate aggressive exploitation of resources while disregarding the safety and welfare of the local inhabitants need to be sent a clear message of intent or else they will continue to exploit and plunder for their own profit. Keep up the good work!!Flag

Think about oil (spill) and natural gas - this can destroy acquatic systems in our oceans and can have a devasting effect on wildlife. Although government have passed laws limiting the amounts and kinds of toxic substances (natural gas, oil, sewage, harmful chemicals, ...). So stand up and fight! Protect our nature! Protect our future!Flag

We are currently undergoing a similar situation here in Doel Belgium. The are trying to destruct our entire village for the expansion of the port of Antwerp. Last week they sent about a 100 agents to our village center to keep us away from the bulldozers. It looked like a warzone. We understand your situation very well. Keep up the protest. Money just can't compare with the spirit of comitted people.Flag

The people of Rossport and Glenegad and the surrounding areas are an inspiration to the rest of us Irish, fair play to ye for standing strong and sticking up for your inidigenous way of life, for holding on to your farms. As an Irishwoman, I thank ye for showing the rest of Ireland that there is still integrity, strentgh, honour and fighting spirit in Irelands peopleFlag
