Comments: The state is allowing Shell to do development work illegally before planning is given, and an garda siochana are helping them in this regard. This alienates the people of this nation to the garda and the state and should be stopped at once.

Comments: A crime against the people of Ireland, a total give-away of a vital resource and an insult to the local inhabitants, i.e. "you ain't worth diddly-squat, just pile the whole damn pipeline on regardless of the locals and the pristine environment that was there before sHell arrived. Shame on the elected representatives and the rest of the shower in the Dail.

Comments: It is disgraceful that the underhanded dealings of succesive corrupt Irish governments is resulting in a very real and serious threat to our human rights and a desperate threat to our envirnment in Mayo. The reprecussions of this disgusting profit driven project are already obvious to anyone with takes the time to read the facts. The gardai who are complicit in this are also spineless ignorant baboons, like their masters. Shame on them all.

Comments: I admire the Shell to sea campaigns effort in opposing the exploitation of the Corrib gas field and the blatant disregard the Irish government has shown for their concerns. This campaign has shown that when push comes to shove our government and it's henchmen have shown negligence and sometimes contempt for people who are trying to assert their rights and express their views. The organisations that perpetrate aggressive exploitation of resources while disregarding the safety and welfare of the local inhabitants need to be sent a clear message of intent or else they will continue to exploit and plunder for their own profit. Keep up the good work!!

Comments: This is a travisty occuring under our own noses, the rights of communities to live a unhindered sustainable future must be utmost. It goes to show how corrupt and utterly gutless our political leaders really are. The only way of change is from the bottom up.

Comments: Water pollution is one of the most serious environmental problems we face today. Think about oil (spill) and natural gas - this can destroy acquatic systems in our oceans and can have a devasting effect on wildlife. Although government have passed laws limiting the amounts and kinds of toxic substances (natural gas, oil, sewage, harmful chemicals, ...). So stand up and fight! Protect our nature! Protect our future!

Comments: incredible footage! this reminds me of the police actions here in our village about a week ago. We are currently undergoing a similar situation here in Doel Belgium. The are trying to destruct our entire village for the expansion of the port of Antwerp. Last week they sent about a 100 agents to our village center to keep us away from the bulldozers. It looked like a warzone. We understand your situation very well. Keep up the protest. Money just can't compare with the spirit of comitted people.

Comments: Ireland is going to need these energy resources in the future -giving them away like this is a serious betrayal of the Irish people by our elected representatives - they should be disgraced and removed from office, and thrown in jail...how much did shell pay you Bertie, and where have you hidden it Did they hand the brown envelope over on the trackside Is that how you can say you won it on the horses SHAME - shame on all of ye. The people of Rossport and Glenegad and the surrounding areas are an inspiration to the rest of us Irish, fair play to ye for standing strong and sticking up for your inidigenous way of life, for holding on to your farms. As an Irishwoman, I thank ye for showing the rest of Ireland that there is still integrity, strentgh, honour and fighting spirit in Irelands people
