Marcus JonesThis area of incredible natural beauty should not be destroyed by anyone let alone a dangerous oil pipeline with no benefit to the local people. Absolutely criminal on all counts.

sam simpsonThis is no less than theft of our national resources. We have already been impoverished as a nation for generations to come by the corruption and greed facilitated by those who purport to represent us - this theft is another example of their economic treason. We are entitled to reclaim it by any means neccessary.
Gary DunneFull support from me, a chairde.

Micheál BroganThe state is bound to protect "the personal rights of the citizen" and in particular to defend the "life, person, good name and property rights of every citizen" (Article 40.2). The gas belongs to the people!

Bill HiltonWhy isnt there an independant. ( a real independant )investigation into some of the goings on here. There are "allegations" that armed, masked men boarded a boat, strange that the boat wasnt sea worthy anyways. His other boat "just happens" to be there to pick him up! This same person is then "attacked" after staying under a truck, and was "almost beaten to death" and yet had damn all bruises or scars are to be seen. Are the people who carried this out ninjas or something as there is no sign of any of this happening. he should be locked up again for wasting tax payers money and polics time.
JenniThere are not enough areas of natural beauty left in this world, it is terrible how the damage to natural beauty is allowed to go on and tragic how those who make a stand for what they believe are treated, soon there will be nothing left for future generations to appreciate just stories and pictures of how things should be. And then all that will be left to say is if only....
Brian KellyIts an absolute disgrace, the collusion between our government and a multinational.
Una DalyI have the displeasure of working next to the Shell headquarters in Holland and see first hand the greed and contempt for humanity harboured by Royal Dutch Shell employees and contracters alike. Contracters leave University and can be paid wages of up to 150, 000 a year, but can equally be given a weeks notice of contract termination. They are disposable and oblivious to the surroundings of projects in places like Siberia and Nigeria, where they are staying in 5 star resorts in compounds while all around them is poverty. It does not surprise me that the people at home are being subjected to the same treatment. The difference is we are not living in the Third World or an obviously corrupt regime. I wonder what our courageous forefathers would have to say about all of this?
