The Condo owners of the Shelborne Condo Hotel would like to petition the Condo Homeowners Association to allow for the installation of a combination dead bolt lock on the entry door of the condo units for the security and convenience of the owners of their units. The right for the installation and use of a combination dead bolt lock should not be prohibited by the Shelborne Ocean Beach Hotel Condominium Association, Inc. and an amendment should be adopted to the Association's Declaration of Condominium and Rules and Regulations to allow for the installation and use of a combination dead bolt lock without requiring an approval process by the Association. Further, if the Rules and Regulations of the Condominium Association prohibit the alteration of the units door by installation of a combination dead bolt lock, that provision should be stricken from the Rules and Regulations for the security and protection of the unit.
