Sheffield Wednesday Football Fans At the moment fellow Wednesdayites you should by now have noticed the large squabble that is going off between Wednesdayite , the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust and Mr Dave Allen the Chairman of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club .Mr Allen and his fellow board members have just over 30 per cent of shares in the club , however if you add this on to Wednesdayites 10 per cent this still only manages 40 per centof the shares .However Mr Allen Claims that a number of investors have come forward for possible takeovers but many have been reluctant to continue because of the lack of shares for a comlete ownership buy-out.You may also know that over the years fans and partners of Sheffield Wednesday have purchased the odd share for themselves and these are the remaining 60 per cent of shareholders, but because of how these shares are dotted around it would be very difficult for an investor to gain them for the 51 per cent needed for a takeover. These matters have divided the board and Wednesdayite and many of us believe that this argument is holding back Sheffield Wednesday From going forward and im sure most of you reading this surely agree that we need to work together to create a bond in Sheffield Wednesday that will see Wednesdayite and Mr Allen talk , agree a price for the shares and see an ambitious investor take Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Forward as 1 big club back to the Premier league so join together and sign this petition , Please.
