People are writing that Tom Cooper also has a complete print. I believe that's not true - ere's a post from someone who knows him:I've known Tommy Cooper for over thirty years. And in this case, if he had a print, I'm pretty sure he would have been someone who would have found a manner in which to share it or get it back to the studio and/or out to the people. It's my understanding that what Tommy had, at some point in more recent years -- and post the Haver restoration -- was a video transfer of some of the same type of stock footage that Ron used to "fill in" the missing sections. It had been originally transferred to tape for reference when Haver was printing up various materials to see what would work or might be usable in his assemblage. I believe Tommy also had some early video transfers of the different "Man That Got Away" takes.But none of this had anything to do with the actual missing footage from the Cukor-approved, 181 minute, premiere...
