The Auburn Veteran's Day Marching Band Competition is supported by the Auburn School District and City of Auburn solely for the benefit of the Auburn High School Parent Associations. Requests to become more involved in the fundraising in the stadium have been denied to other high schools parent associations in the Auburn School District. The competition charges $250 for the competition and $125 to competitively march in the parade. It is rumored the ABPA makes @ $30,000 in this competition and does not support a marching band. I believe all the Auburn High School Band Parent's should have a chance to fundraise and be involved in this event because it is supported by our tax dollars.
