Those who sign this petition feel that, after review of the Class Concept, and skills that are offered by the Prestige Class, Spirit Wraith, in the game Shards of Masagon, is in need of a positive (Buff) rework due to several class design flaws, which may include but are not limited to the below bullet points which represent common complaints about the class. ◊ Drastic Imbalance between the Detriments and Boons gained by taking the Class, such as inability to take up divine or druidic skills; effectively locking out several class choices. ◊ Poor class synergy with other trees. ◊ Role-play Penalties including a negative world connotation, both within the populace of the game, and the world as a greater entity. ◊ Severe penalties for character permanent death. ◊ Improper Feel of Class, limited applications for skills in current environment ◊ Not interesting or powerful enough for what it claims to offer metaphysically. We the undersigned would like to see one of several possible scenarios occur. These were suggested by several individuals. 1. The Class is reworked into a fuller, playable tree, which offers power more compensatory for the detriments it currently has. 2. The Class is reworked into a standalone tree in the Martial Book, or a Race Overlay Template much akin to Druid (Which is its antithetical class). 3. Something is done to increase the power of the class, or decrease the current detriments, as they are much too severe for the power level of the characters who aim to pick up the tree. Less experience can be spent in other trees to gain better skills.
