This petition is started on behalf of the blog I write WTC Captive Fund. The blog is a tribute to the rescue workers who heroically went down to the WTC site and risked their lives. Now lawyers such as James Tyrrell are wasting money defending lawsuits on behalf of the rescue workers.

Shame on James Tyrrell making $850 per hour!

My name is Irv Kaplan and after seeing a building fall in NYC near my home in midtown earlier this year, it made me think back to the horrible day of 9/11. The more I thought about that tragedic day the more I keep thinking about our city's bravest and finest better known as the rescue workers. I started doing research and realized that the rescue workers who risked their lives have still not been compensated by the injuries they received working at ground zero even though the city has set up a billion dollar fund to compensate the rescue workers Then I found this lawyer James Tyrrell who is being paid a crazy amount of $ to litigate the claims againist the rescue workers. It is absurb!
