Interpreters & translators has a unique chracter everywheres, It is insulting point for them now. So much has been done to raise the quality of interpreting services in the UK in accordance with the EU directive and ECHR. Why move away from this? PS Interpreters/ NRPSI must be granted a recognition of their profession. Not to agencies. Outsourcing all legal interpreting services to a private company is incredibly expensive, will result in a poor service and is a disincentive for interpreters to train and become qualified. The poor service is also not fair with claint (Defendent or Wictom) It is also a dangerous monopoly in this Profession.
