Comments: I have served with Sgt. Nelson. He should not be prosecuted. He is a upstanding man and very capable of his job and made correct decisions.

Comments: In those types of situations, there is no morally correct answer. Any choice will lead to someones death, whether it be adolescent teens, easily influenced by older and sinister adults, or marines, those fighting for freedom and eachother.

Comments: I am a former marine, and to see another marine suffer at the hands of his fellow marine(JAG)lawyer, disturbs my soul greatly. Killing is killing, and to think that there is justified levels that make it right, is to continue the downward spiral that only our great soldiers feel the brunt of our societies utter lack of knowledge. Let this man find the peace after the chaos we have created in his soul! Orders are the devils playground.

Comments: This is BS, decorated or not, he is/was in a hostile invionment given orders and punished for those orders carried out while his officer commanding walks free????? He has served our great nation and has in turn earned our thanks and praises! This Judge Advocate needs to be replaced this is unacceptable behavior for any military officer especially when a mans life is on the line. Due process in a military court of law has failed....

Comments: No one knows what its like to serve in that environment. The Govt. and people of this nation expect you to go to combat, kill and see your team members killed, then be a normal "sane" human being? Our troops are not machines, they are human, and go through hell in war. But are expected to come out without any problems after enduring so much mental trauma. That is rediculous! Semper Fi!

Comments: Fully support justice! Seeing another case where prosecution is molding case into something it's not. Undue command influence! Unlawful use of position! Unlawful use government resources! Fight fight fight!

Comments: Seems those powers that be (at the least those directly an collectively) should be under court marshal or equivalent in civilian court, for terrorist and/or treason action.
