Name: David W. Long, Jr. on Feb 14, 2007Comments: My opposition to this stipend covers many areas, which are too lengthy to go into here. I plan on writing an editorial to the school newspaper, detailing my arguments, as well as rebuttals to the arguments that I have heard in favor of the stipend. While I maintain my opinion that the stipend is wrong, I do respect the views and opinions of those in favor of the stipend, and feel that everyone has a right to argue their case evenly. I have made the suggestion to the SGA President that an open forum be held, to be moderated by an unbiased third-party, where students on both sides of this issue can come together and present their cases/arguments, in an attempt to bring closure to this issue, and to actually do something about this problem which has divided the campus of Susquehanna University. Anyone wishing to get involved on a more active basis can contact me at longd@susqu.edu. Let's work together and get something done about this!Flag

Name: Amy on Feb 15, 2007Comments: Of course, SGA puts effort into giving themselves money when in fact they should be working hard for distributing it better causes on the campus. I really think that the money could be less selfishly spent. Perhaps on dry erase markers or better quality entertainment in campus activities. Also, how dare they say that people in SGA work harder than anyone else that heads many campus clubs!Flag
