Name: Tara L. Weidner on May 1, 2007Comments: My daughter will be attending Brooke Elementary in the Fall of 2007. I was appalled to hear that Brooke did not have a sprinkler system. I am sure that the School Board members who oppose spending money on this very necessary safety improvement don't have children in the school.Flag

Prevention is always key - PLEASE do not wait for a tragedy to occur before this takes priority. Please live and act so you have no regrets and fix this situation ASAP! Name: Renee Chesler on May 6, 2007Comments: Sprinkler systems are a safety issue, as well as a way to protect our community assets---the school building(s) themselves. Should a fire occur when students are not present in the school, a sprinkler system will work to minimize the damage done to the building and will also aid firefighters (who are volunteers) in controlling the blaze.Flag
