It is time for change. Every fan that supports a team in the Scottish Football League knows that. By taking no action, you are directly responsible for the deterioration of our game. If you do not change things, quickly, the people in charge of the Scottish Football League will be guilty of killing the Scottish Football League. We believe there is a simple solution: change the leagues now to 16, 18 or 20 teams. The 10-10-10 configuration, which teams play each other at least four times per season, is patently ridiculous, and is directly responsible for the stultifying boredom that is chasing away spectators. Twice a season, plus the occasional extra cup tie, is clearly enough for any two clubs to play one another. We beg you, as custodians of an important element of professional football in Scotland, to change things this summer. Walter Smith has shown signs that he has begun leading our game out of the dark ages. We urge you to do your best and help him bring it into the modern world. Be Brave. Be Bold. Be Right!

Andrew Richardson, United Kingdom7 years ago Comments: A pyramid system similar to what they have in England would be the best solution. A 16 or 18 team premier league and 2 matches between every team would help.
Innes Ross, India7 years ago Comments: The pyramid system works well in England, Italy, Spain, Germany and others. Why not Scotland Regionalise 2nd & 3rd Divisions. Relegation for bottom club in each
Rosie Macaulay, United Kingdom7 years ago Comments: I think this is a good idea
