Student Finance England is not and does not work. It still is not working whilst being investigated! Thousands of students are still waiting for their money, its November 2009 we should not be waiting, waiting for our lost passports, waiting to actually speak to someone on the other end of the phone that we have been holding onto for 20 minutes at £1.50 per minute! Gordon Brown, this system is NOT working and students are having to leave University places because of this system. Next year it won't get any better because the plan is Student Finance not only deal with first year undergraduates but all years! I hate to think what the first years' next year will go through to get their money. Change must happen NOW it must be reverted back to the Local Education Authorities dealing with the finance. There were no problems before. Student Finance will not sort this mess out by the time more people apply for next year. It must be changed NOW!
