Name: Steve Mac on Sep 11, 2008Comments: Its an outrage. The SAFA and SFA have seen a league ticking along nicely, causing no bother to anyone, and have decided they want a piece of that pie. £4-5k per year to be precise. From a league that have donated every penny profit and from disciplinary fines to charity in past few years. No committee expenses and no league fees bar pitch and ref fees and they try to close it down. Instead of shutting the Sat Morning League down- they should be holding it up as a model for efficency and good behaviour for other local amateur leagues.Flag

The rolling substitutions have allowed my dad to continue playing football late into his 50s, something that would not have been possible under the SFA rules.Flag
