I am a registered sex offender. I was charged when I was a juvenile. Now I am 26 years old have been out of the girls home going on nine years and I have not been in trouble. I don't think that sex offenders who are charged as juveniles should have to register. They can get more out of treatment. Furthermore I think that the laws seem to be harsher on juvenile sex offenders then it does the ones that committed the crime as adults. I know that there are adult sex offenders out there, that have two charges and they can get off in ten years, but the juveniles who have been out like myself for sometime that has not been in trouble has to register for life.
