Sex abuse of children and young people is a crime of such horror that most of us do not want to think about it . . . but we MUST! We have seen victims of abuse by priests and clergy step forward in recent years and tell their stories. Their words fall on deaf ears in the justice system because many states have statutes of limitations which allow the perpetrators to walk away free. This injustice can be remedied. It takes a revision of criminal law through each state legislature. If you have doubts that this is a good idea, get in touch with SNAP (Survivor\'s Network for those Abused by Priests). You will hear what a life-changing event sexual abuse really is. Get on board for the innocents who have suffered too much, even into their adult years. For more information on sexual abuse, visit SNAP at www.survivorsnetwork.org and www.rememberthesurvivors.com.

Comments: Especially when the victim was a child. Most children do not understand how the justice system works and perhaps were manipulated by the perpetrator into not saying anything. If the once child victim wants to pursue justice as an adult, they should be allowed this right.
