Well my mate Barry went to the library on Friday to see what he could see. They [the Council] assured him that the land in Sewerby is way down on their priority list.
However, we can not be complacent. If we do not stand togerther and fight this proposal before we know it we'll have a housing estate in our village!
Also, not sure who placed a note on the Ship's notice board about the Councils plan, but come on, most of the Sewerby Village residents don't go anywhere near the pub at this time of the year. Why hadn't the same someone put a note through everyones door??
We will be gathering out signatures to send to the Council.
