Name: Niki Colman on Nov 27, 2006Comments: I know a lot of parents in the neighborhood bought in Seville with the knowledge that there was going to be an elementary school built here. How disappointing that it is even in consideration that the children that live here in WITHIN the Seville neighborhood would not attend the new school. I encourage you to keep the Riggs school boundaries to include the entire Seville neighborhood allowing us to have a school close to our homes where we can walk our children to school in safety, and not have to bus our children out of the neighborhood.Flag

Name: Casie Messer on Nov 27, 2006Comments: We bought our house the same time as my sister and a couple of friends in anticipation of the kids going to school together and carpooling. Now this has us divided again. We also bought in this neighborhood with the understanding that we would have our own local school that the kids could ride their bikes or walk to. We definately want all of Seville to go to our new school.Flag

Name: Laurie Elkins on Nov 27, 2006Comments: I was outraged to find out that 2 out of the 5 proposals from the Chandler District were NOT inclusive of ALL of Seville! How ludicrous to try to appease to one development to the West of Seville (between Greenfield & Higley!)so we can take 3/4 of Seville and bus them to a school 7 miles away! How can this make sense to anyoneFlag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 27, 2006Comments: Let's stick together as a community and keep our neighborhood school Riggs Elementary! These proposals that are non-inclusive of all of the Seville Community are absurd, ridiculous and obviously not very well thought out. There is no making sense out of catering to distant neighborhoods when we have enough children in our OWN neighborhood!Flag

Name: Cindy Hohmann on Nov 27, 2006Comments: If YOU were a Seville Resident AND a school board member there is no way you would vote to divide your own neighborhood. Please do not do to us what you wouldn't want for your own kids, neighbors and community. Your vote has a direct impact on the childhood memories that our children are now creating. You will cast your vote and then move on to other issues, but for us this is personal and long lasting. Please know that your vote to keep our neighborhood and our children together is desperately needed and appreciated.Flag

Name: Margot Dupuy on Nov 28, 2006Comments: ALL children who live in the Seville area should be allowed to attend the Seville school...Riggs Elementary. This school was built to accomodate our community. By splitting up Seville, you are splitting up a community! This makes no sense at all!Flag
