For the love of his country, Viet Khang aka Vo Minh Tri composed and sang Anh La Ai and Viet Nam Toi Dau. Through these songs, he expressed his view on how the Vietnamese government handled the recent dispute with China over the Paracel and Spratly Islands. And for this, he was arrested on December 23rd, 2011. Many Vietnamese inside the country as well as abroad believed that Viet Khang is a patriotic and heroic person, but to others he is considered as a traitor. Regardless of different believes on the political spectrum, this petition drive has only one purpose. It is to gain his release and set him free.
