4051 David StaudenmeirCitizenship is about more than paperwork and legalities. These folks are citizens, in practice, even if not on paper by the letter of the law. The folks INS and Homeland Security need to reverse the tables and ask themselves how they would view it if they were the ones in the Servanos' shoes.
4052 Rebecca LakeAs a US citizen whose family dates back to the Mayflower and pre-Revolutionary days, I am ashamed that the US government is getting hung up on bureaucratic details rather than implementing the spirit of the law of this great land. The situation the Servanos find themselves in is terribly unjust. As a mother of two children, I feel for them. I beg you to do whatever it takes to allow them to become US citizens and permanent residents.

4054 Teresa SpinksThese people did everything they were supposed to do regarding applying for the legal right to live in the United States. I believe the government should be concentrating more on getting the people who have snuck across the border illegally back to their official country of residence. I also believe the US would be doing this country a disservice by deporting this couple by depriving it's citizens of an apparently highly respected and qualified doctor.

4072 steven karpinskiThis is crazy,we allow immigrants from all nation's into our country. But when it come's to a gainfully employed couple that made a love mistake on their visa application ,we as a country want to throw them out of our country. This is an injustice to them and to our country

4077 Sharon SnyderPlease help this family who have given so much to this community and thus, to our country, to remain in the United States. I hope that we are not making immigration decisions based on simple clerical errors but on the character of the individuals seeking to live in our country.

4080 Philip TaeleI've heard the story from CNN and a few other news sites about the Servano family. I don't know these people personally, but they seem to be model citizens. They haven't done anything wrong and all I hear are good things. Rules are in place to help people, but this isn't the case. It would nothing but damage if the couple were to be deported back to the Philippines.

4088 Buenafe A. Briggs [AKA Brigido A. Buenafe per SC Case #GR 163045]'Tis a very hitleric way for the United States to aright a reasonably-understandable mistake on the part of the deportees, I say... Am most certain that this unconscionable act is wrong morally for America to do; and if 'twill come to pass, am most certain that the near future WILL bring ample remedies to the Servanos' ameliorative justice. I for one, pledges my personal efforts for this cause. -- Buenafe A. Briggs [AKA Brigido A. Buenafe per SC Case #GR 163045] TOPP-North America

4095 Mark HeidThese people have done nothing wrong and this if they are deported, it would go against everything this country stands for. It would be a crime for them to be forced to leave a country they themselves have made better by hard work and service.
