Name: Anonymous on Jun 14, 2007Comments: I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My mother was born in Mexico as well as my father. My mother studied here in Texas and became a US citizen after marrying my father over 30 yrs ago. We never had to go through any immigration problems but I think that unless you have walked through some of these countries such as Mexico and have seen how some of these families live you would have a different opion about immigration laws. 90 to 95 % of Mexicans that come to this country come to work so that they can give their families a better future. So no I do not agree with seperating families. it's very hard for a person who is born here but has alot of families in Mexico to give an opinion because people like myself get caught between two walls. I believe people should abide by the law but it also hurts when you know that when these individuals come into the US illegally; not because they don't want to follow the law but because they know that there is no way to save 2 to 3 thousand dollars such to get there paperwork started, from a weekly $40 dollar paycheck. This is where it gets complicated for these families. So I say if they are already here and have never been convicted of any crimes and have really proved that they want to better them selves then the goverment should find a way to help and that does not mean seperating families.Flag

In this world today, i think its important that our government stay within its boundaries and realize the sole autonomy of its inhabitantsFlag
