The university has responded to this and acknowledged our concerns. They have promised to arrange a forum at which we can discuss the reasons behind the proposed changes, our concerns with the transition, and the way to move forward. They have also requested student representation on planning committees to ensure our views are represented as this moves along.
As a result of this, the petition text has been removed as a show of optimism moving forward. Should the need arise, this petition can be restarted.
