It was a memorable and cherished experience of mine and I was hoping to be able to go back. The professors were courteous and beyond knowledgeable; they were awesome. The classes were fun and creative helping me develop new creative ideas for my own work I would have never even ventured to. The school has culture and I really admired that.Flag

Name: Tina Oldknow on Dec 9, 2009Comments: The Secondary School of Glassmaking at Kamenicky Senov is the oldest school of glassmaking in the world and it represents an invaluable cultural and artistic asset, not only to the Czech Republic, but also to the global cultural heritage of glass. For many centuries, the Czech Republic has been a international leader in the production of industrial and artistic glass. I believe that it would be a grave mistake to forsake this unique heritage.Flag

Name: Elizabeth Sinkova on Dec 9, 2009Comments: Glass school Kamenicky Senov is unique in all possible ways. I personally studied there, graduated a couple of years ago and I feel devastated by the shocking news. It is very obvious, that there has been some nasty fraud set onto our precious school! I ever had only the best time during my studies in Kamenicky Senov. I kept my memories created through the nicest experience one could imagine. Tutors teaching on this school pass onto me the best knowledge and I practised my work in a very well equipped workshops. This school has a massive international respect, not only because of its establishment, but also for its abilities to give to our world such a skilful artists and craftsmen! Nevertheless, it is sad to find, that there are certain people out there, aiming to ruin this precious jewel, our patron of glassmaking education! We are all aware, that this must not happen, because we can not lose our identity, our tradition and pride. This school also plays a very important role in an international glassmaking and I believe, that possess a bright future, which will enhance our crafts even more! All of us have to become united to rescue our school, our tradition! A director of school Ac. Mal. Mr. Frantisek Janak is the right person to cope for our justice with no doubt. Glass is in our hearts and we want keep it!!Flag
