Comments: A pardon is just not acceptable punishment. Will we pardon the adult individual that makes contact with a minor to engage in sexual activities next Or the first time offender that sells crack to school kids because it was his first offense Or what about the two women that stole a purse from a 80 year old woman that died after she fell during the attack Would they all be able to get a pardon too When do you draw the line When is not obeying the law unfair for the rich, but justified for the person that cant afford a "buy out" If this was any other "average joe" they would not even get this far in the legal system. They would know and accept they did something wrong and deal with it. regardless of economic background. She just must not be aware that she commited a crime. Mommy must have never taught her there would be consequences for bad actions.

Comments: Paris Hilton needs to serve the time given to her by the Judge. If Paris is pardoned I will write Governor Schwartzenegger, President Bush and anyone else who needs to understand how celebrities or people with money are above the law. She will drink and drive again as well as drive under a suspended license. She has never suffered any consequences for her actions and this is why she cannot handle her punishment. Next time she drinks and drives she could and possible will kill someone. The people her let her out of her punishment will have to live with that for the rest of their lives, if they have a conscience. She does not.

Comments: She should serve like anyone else. If it was good enough for Martha well, little miss princess can serve a few days. I would lose total respect for the Governor or the judge for anything less. Enough is enough.

Comments: Paris should go to jail to wake her bloody blond head up to the fact that she isn't special. She is a regular person like everyone else and deserves no special care since she is a millionaire's daughter. She needs to go to jail and stay put for the full 45 days. She did the crime (driving with a suspended license) and now she should do the time. No questions and no pardons!

Comments: I have lost 2 family members in car accidents. One was a DUI incident. The driver was my ex-husband. Though he is not a part of my life anymore, I know he and his family will always be deeply scarred my this. The other was my mother-in-law, and her premature loss was unbearable. As a mother, I want to think that people like this only get one stike, then they're out of the game. There is no room in society for any form of tolerance on this issue. Too many people's lives are ruined as a result of such an avoidable thing. With all of the diseases, natural disasters, and pain in the world that can't be avoided, there is no excuse for those that cause additional peril. Thank God nobody was hurt or killed-this time. Don't make her face the consequences of her actions, and it is only a matter of time. For once in her rediculous, over-indulgent life, it is time for Miss Hilton to put on her big girl panties and suck it up. Thank you for your time, Rachel
