Although countless American homeowners lose millions of dollars to contracting scams every year the rogue activity remains virtually unenforceable by any aspect of government in Oregon state, to date.

Draped in the guise of a civil offense, fraudulent contracting schemes are virtually legal free trade in Oregon. Indeed, I challenge any victim to seek assistance from law enforcement, the Attorney General or the Construction Contractors Board for protection against an unlicensed 'contractor'.  Officers of any of the three agencies will likely tell you that their hands are tied, in the case where the defendant - having been successfully sued, cannot or will not court ordered damages. So criminals, welcome to Oregon. You're sure to make a killing.

In my case, Hans Dankers of HD Woodworking - presented to me by a licensed and bonded general contractor I hired for a kitchen remodel, stole and resold over $4700 of my personal property (see his website which showcases a sink unit I purchased at Ikea installed in another person's home - whom, I'm sure he also charged for the feature: http://www.hdwoodworking.com/kitchen-cabinets/), neglected to complete a contracted job months after the end date, refused to pay fines to the State of Oregon for working as a contractor without a license since 1993, and indicating that he more or less had no plans to pay in excess of $11,000 in damages ordered by a Multnomah County Judge, in Oregon.

On the case file resource system of Multnomah County Courthouse, a search of Hans Dankers and/or spouse will bring up a listing of a continuous and consistent series of lawsuits brought against him, or them dating back to 1993 to date!

Finally, let us send career scam Artist, Hans Dankers and others, to JAIL and make criminal rogue contractors pay in Oregon State.
