107 MilwaukeeWIThese woods have unique historical (indian paths & settler clergy burials) as well as botanical significance. As an adult, I appreciate what a treasure the Seminary Woods is, and want to work to preserve them. As a child, I played in them, prayed in them (the chapel) and took daily walks with my mother. It is the one place that truly feels like home, and despite living in an urban area, where I am at peace with nature. I am willing to contribute financially as well as do whatever work I can to save the Seminary Woods for future generations.
108 MilwaukeeWIThis is a very special place indeed, worthy of everything possible that can be done to preserve it as the magical place that it is.

110 MilwaukeeWIPlease help protected this natural area in a completely developed urban environment.
111 GreendaleWIThe land is so unique and so important in many ways and must not be lost to development. This is an excellent use of funds from the Stewardship Fund and I hope the powers that be will allocate sufficient funds to preserve this special place.

119 MilwaukeeWIMy partner and I just discovered this amazing resource and hope it is preserved for generations to come.
120 WaukeshaWII grew up in Bay View. I spent many hours in the Seminary Woods (I was an altar boy at the Sisters of St. Francis chapel - and spent many a Saturday morning at burial ceremonies for deceased nuns at the cemetery in Seminary Woods). Anyone who has every walked through the Seminary Woods would not hesitate to support its preservation. Do what is right and support all efforts to protect and preserve Seminary Woods. Sincerely, Jim Drehfal

123 Vernon HillsILDoug Tallamy, renowned entomologist, in his book "Gardening For Life," said "...we humans have taken 95% of nature and made it unnatural...Our fellow creatures need food and shelter to survive and reproduce, and in too many places we have eliminated both..." It's not just about preserving the landscape. It's also about preserving our fellow creatures and ourselves as a species. Every little piece matters.
124 FranklinWIThis priceless treasure must be preserved for future generations. It is the right thing to do.

126 MilwaukeeWIWe need these funds just as much as distant area of land does; maybe moreso as this is located in the heart of a greater urban area! Thank you!

134 MuskegoWII attended De Sales high school from 1972-1976 and have always enjoyed the woods, even to this day. Developing it would be a be a very big mistake.

146 RIver ForestILI lived in Bayview for years and loved to walk there -- preserving those woods would be critical to maintaining property values! My family is still there and loves the woods.

150 CaledoniaWII first discovered Seminary Woods while on a letterbox search. My 10 year old son and I fell in love with the woods. We especially liked the quiet and the grotto.
