Comments: Started this petition because I believe that we Pennsylvanians should be allowed to hunt with what ever rifle we want to use.

Comments: the semi auto sporting arm has proven its worth the nation and world over and in my opinion there is no logical reason to not allow it as just another option for the hunters of pa.

Comments: In addition, semi-auto .22 rimfire rifles should be permitted for small game use. Many youngsters could get started hunting squirrels for instance, with a semi-auto rimfire. Hunter Safety courses can teach them proper and safe handling.

Comments: There is no reason why we're not allowed to be hunting with them. They are no more dangerous than a bolt, lever or pump in the same caliber. I would have no problem spending 1200+ for something like an R-15 or R-25 if allowed to hunt with semi autos. But no way am i gona spend that kinda money to have to convert that gun into a single shot

Comments: semi-automatic rifles should be legal for hunting in Pa with a clip capacity set to 5 rounds. Just as semi auto shot guns have there place in the hunting world in Pa so should semi auto rifles. would be nice to at least start off with them being allowed for varmint hunting and then moving forward with large game..

Comments: Semi-auto's should be legal in all respects for all game animals. From semi auto 22 handguns for small game to AR-10 type of rifles for big game. A capacity limit would be reasonable, but to outright not allow them is wrong.

Comments: There are many states that don't have a ban on semi-automatic rifles and they have no more problems or accidents than Pa. While you're at it at it something should be done about sunday hunting restrictions in Pa. You can fish and do just about anything else on sunday, hunting should also be allowed.
