On the night of August 30th 2012 a very dear friend of mine Timothy Claytors  life was turned upside down he killed a man in self-defense, Marlon Dale Holloway, Tim was at his own home. A DO NOT ENTER sign was at the end of the drive way when Mr. Holloway got to Tims house that night after driving  fifteen miles three times the legal limit intoxicated at 10 o’clock at night. Mr. Holloway came up to the house, up the steps and when he reached in to grab Tim he shot him three times with in seconds. They are claiming that Tim was not defending himself. Mr. Holloway has a very lengthy history of violence and everyone that knew him was aware of what he could do in a split second without you knowing what was going on. He slapped a young man in the face with a piece of pizza one night because Dale offered him a piece and the boy told him he had just ate and was not hungry but thank you anyway, Dale waited till Jon was watching television and slapped him in the face with a piece of pizza, a similar incident with a loaf of bread. Mr. Holloway was a sneaky person he would act like everything was okay and then he would just snap. He has been known to just grab someone and body slam them when he was mad. He also brandished a shotgun and attacked the local sheriff and other officers, the sheriff had to go to the hospital, yet nothing was done. The prosecuting attorney here in Logan County is pushing for murder; Tim was afraid of Dale and acted in self defense. Tim is not a violent person this is a man that hit a bird while driving and went back and got the bird held it to make sure it was okay, most people would have just kept going and say it was just a bird. Tim is always willing to put others in front of himself he is always willing to help someone with anything that he can from doing odd jobs to buying groceries for a family in need. Tim has lived here in Kentucky for 20 years he has made his living doing everything from tree trimming, plumbing work, and carpentry work. Tim has never hurt anyone he has always gone to work and kept to himself. Tim would not have done something like this unless he was in fear for his life. Please help by sighning this petition to help make sure an inocent man doesn't go to prison for defending himself!!
