The influx of children and speeding traffic on Seeley Street is a dangerous mix. We feel it is necessary to install a stop sign at the Prospect Avenue overpass to ensure the safety of Seeley Street's many children and residents. The overpass leads down to the entrance of the subway and many commuters day and night must cross Seeley Street to gain access to the subway. There have been too many close calls with cars and trucks. It is imperative that the Department of Transportation do something to impede the speed of these vehicles and prevent a tragedy from happening.
